Isle of Coll Apiaries

Raw ployfloral Honey, hand crafted beeswax candles, artisan soap, cards, with paintings & drawings by native artist

Our bees are the original Northern European honey bee (apis mellifera mellifera) we have developed our apiaries with the kind support of local landowners.

Here on the northern fringes of our continent bee-keepers support each other in developing and maintaining genetically diverse colonies. These hardy but endangered bees give us organic raw honey.

Coll Honey is truly a superfood!

Come and see us at the craft market every Saturday.

Kip Poulson

Artist based in Aringour, Isle of Coll

Kip Poulson lives and works on the small Hebridean Island of Coll, located off the west coast of Scotland. Specializing in the dramatic landscapes of Coll, Kip captures the beauty and simplicity of island life.

Kip studied Fine Art at Leeds University and Chelsea School of Art and has been painting since 1978. Traveling around Cornwall and France he has developed an interest in fishing harbours and architecture.

Working in both watercolours and oils, his major interest is in the play of light on landscape and water. He also paints portraits upon request.

Another area of interest for Kip is the South of France and Switzerland, where he records the architecture of each region set against the spectacular mountain scenery. Recently he has had several one-man exhibitions in the Cevennes, Paris and in the Gard region of France and Geneva.
