Surfing on Coll

Swell from the North Atlantic systems produce some wonderful waves suitable for all type of surfing. The waves on Coll can be just as impressive as those offered by the more famous beaches of Tiree. However, Coll's beaches are always quieter, there being less visitors to Coll and the fact that Coll's beaches are quite some hike from the nearest road.

The seas are surprisingly warm, a consequence of the North Atlantic Gulf Stream, making Coll an excellent place to surf.
