Drinks

Both the Coll Hotel and the Island Café serve drinks; teas, coffees, soft & alcoholic drinks. However, the only bar is in the Coll Hotel.

The Gannet Restaurant    01879 230334

The Gannet Restaurant is in the Coll Hotel and has built up a reputation for delicious, fresh locally caught seafood. Lobsters, crabs, langoustines, squat lobsters and scallops are delivered to the kitchen door along with locally grown seasonal vegetables and salads.
All of our loaves, rolls, burger buns, GF foccacia, spaghetti, desserts & most of our ice cream are made at the hotel.

From homemade Scottish-Beef burger & chips to Hebridean seafood platters, you will find there is something for all tastes, all budgets and all dietary requirements… Just ask.

There are lunch and evening menus and a specials board which changes daily. Meals are served in the bar, the Gannet (which overlooks the harbour) or in the garden. There's also a Residents' Dining Room which overlooks the garden and sea beyond.

The Island Café    01879 230262

The Island Café serves home cooked, hearty meals, takeaways and astonishing home made puddings. We have a full licence and children are welcome.
A family run business, the Café is a popular venue with families and childrens' meals are tailored to requirements. As are any special diet requirements. The Menu is varied but all is home made and goes from burger (often local meat) to Pork in Normandy Cider, a plate full of crispy Fish and Chips to stew and dumplings. The all-day fry up is 'proper', the baguettes filled to bursting and all the home made soups served with home made bread.

Sunday Lunch, serving the Traditional Roast with local meats, slabs of belly pork and so on... and Yorkshire puddings for all... is a protracted, relaxed affair. Opening at 12noon and serving till 6pm (though last table bookings are preferred by 5.30pm), booking is essential for Sunday Lunch. In Summer, it is highly advisable to book for evening meals. Ring, email or drop in after you arrive on Coll.

The Café, overlooking Loch Eatharna, is licensed and has a lawned area in front where coffee, meals and drinks can be taken at the tables. Free WIFI extends out of the building into the garden
