Trot along and join us for a family friendly fun day and night with good food, drink + festive activities
The aim of the day is to raise funds to contribute to the cost of running the centre, grounds and any improvements / maintenance that are needed.
Jog through the day or break in and out when suits… the schedule runs:
10 – 12 noon Coffee Morning
1 – 2 Picnic Lunch in the grounds
2 – 5 Multi Sports Tournament – £20 per team of 5 – see below
+ Garden Games
5.30 Outdoor ‘Hobby Horse’ Races – £5 team entry/ £2.50 for individuals –
6 – 7 Cheese Fest and ‘Which World Wine?’ competition £5 entry
Fruit Smoothie Bar – ‘Fathom the Fresh Fruit Flavours’ competition
7.30 Hungry Hangi Dinner (fire pit cooking)
8.30 – late Indoor Horse Races – models to race available for hire
Ceilidh Dance and Local Band for Boogie £10/5 under 16/£25 family
Fundraising games eg. Raffle and PRIZES throughout the day!
|Things you need to know:
Multi Sports Tournament – for ENTRY FORM email firstname.lastname@example.org
6 teams of 5 people (inc. 1 male / 1 female / 1 under 16 and one over 45)
- 2 of the team will play doubles badminton, 1 will play table tennis, 2 will take part in a 3-legged obstacle course. All 5 will play 5 aside football.
- Every member of the team will take part in 2 activities (Football and 1 other)
Rules and timings will be issued 2 days before the competition.
Entries to Carol Flett by Saturday 21st July to include team name, list of team members and payment.
Hobby Horse Races – enter on the day
- Team race – Ideally make and bring your own racing horse that can carry your rider across the pitch without putting their feet down…. (like the raft race there are no team size advisories)
- Adult Race and Kids Races across the pitch on home-made Hobby Horse
